The Light of the World: How This Event Embraced the Meaning of Kinship

What is kinship? It’s relationships, connection, family, tribe. It runs deep. And it’s what Kinship Cambodia strove to instill in their community through their latest outreach event. Pastor Jack and his ministry let their light shine through an incredible worship celebration. Appropriately titled “Light of the World,” this special event saw over 100 young people connect with their faith and each other. The verse Matthew 5:14-16 inspired the empowering theme of this gathering: “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Would You Like a Fridge Picture?

We are always looking for meaningful opportunities to connect with generous donors like you using photos and updates. We often highlight a picture and story about our Kinship Kids as a “refrigerator picture” - you can display the photo on your fridge with a magnet! Many supporters say these photos help them focus and direct their prayers and serve as a daily reminder of the children they help! Would you like to receive refrigerator pictures in the mail? Please contact us to let us know that you’re interested! Check out our latest fridge picture and story from the Kyengera Kinship Newsletter

Stitching Hope: A Journey of Love and Purpose

My name is Sylvia Nabadda, and I am 24 years old. When I was just six years old, my life took an unexpected turn. My beloved father passed away due to an unknown disease, leaving behind my sickly mother and me. We lived in the humble villages of Buwanda, where life was challenging for us. In the midst of our struggles, a ray of hope appeared in the form of Pastor Mbabazi. He saw the difficult circumstances my bedridden mother and I faced, and he decided to take me under his care at the Buwanda Kinship Home. It was a Child Stories
