Our Long-Lasting Model: Kinship Projects
Kinship United has been perfecting a model that’s been serving orphans, widows, refugees, and entire struggling communities for over 20 years. It’s not just an orphan home. It’s not just a church. It’s not just a community center. It’s a Kinship.
A Kinship Project begins with a healthy church in a poor community who has more orphans, widows, and refugees than they can handle. The church building includes dormitories for orphaned and separated children. A local pastor and his wife live there, as well as local widows, and they make the whole building a warm home for the children. The Kinship Project is also a water source, feeding program, primary school, medical clinic, trafficking safe haven, day care, vocational training class, music and therapy center, and more.
When you support a Kinship Project, you give food to starving community members, bless distressed widows with a second chance, and save the lives of countless orphans. Doesn’t that sound like something you could get behind? Please take a moment to see if there’s a way for you to help the kids being raised by the churches in the local Kinship Project countries above.
