Ringing in the New Year with Open Arms at the Bakka Kinship Project
As told by our field team leader, Eddie: "As the clock struck twelve and the fireworks lit up the sky, the [Bakka Kinship Project in Uganda] opened its doors to welcome in the New Year with open arms. But for the children who call this place home, this celebration was about so much more than just ringing in the new year. It was about hope, love, and a sense of belonging.
