James 1:27 calls us to take action and embody true religion by helping those who are often overlooked and marginalized – orphans and widows who’ve been left alone to navigate some of life’s toughest challenges. This verse is the principle on which we built our Kinship Project Model. Our Kinship Projects are churches first with room for orphans and widows to live together. Widows act as caregivers for the orphans, and they learn to heal together in their new safe haven. One of those Kinship Projects is the Home of Love in India.
