Grateful Hearts Across the Globe This Thanksgiving Season

Church congregation in Cambodia worshippingThis Thanksgiving, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude—because of YOU. Your compassion and generosity have brought hope and healing to so many walking through life’s darkest valleys.

Thanks to your support, orphans once abandoned and brokenhearted have found safety and love. Widows facing unimaginable loss have discovered comfort and community. Hungry families suffering from malnutrition have received life-saving meals. And neighbors battling illness without access to medical care have found healing and hope.

Life-Changing Rescues

Your kindness has rewritten the stories of children like Lawrence and Mary Mercy.

Lawrence lost his mother at a young age, leaving him and his sister in the care of their aging grandmother. When she could no longer provide for them, they had nowhere to turn—until they were embraced by the Kyengera Kinship Project. [Read his story here.]

Mary Mercy’s journey began in heartbreak. She lost her father at just two years old, and though her mother tried her best, a lack of food and medical care left Mary struggling to survive. Today, thanks to the Bosnia Kinship Project, Mary Mercy is not only thriving—she’s full of life and hope. [Read her story here.]

The Power of Community

Akua, a widow from South Sudan, endured unimaginable loss—her husband, her children, and even her home. Yet in her despair, she found strength in her faith and the love of a community. Now, Akua lives within the Buloba Kinship Project community, where she receives support through our feeding program, made possible by supporters like you. [Read her story here.]

Full Bellies and Uplifted Spirits

In Cambodia, Pastor Jack and his team didn’t just distribute nutritious meals to struggling communities on the outskirts of Phnom Penh. They shared the life-changing hope of the Gospel. Moved by the stories of Jesus, these communities yearned to learn more and ultimately became outposts of the church. [Read their story here.]

Hope and Healing

In Uganda, one of our incredible alumni, Cathy, took part in a medical outreach event that served over 500 people. For many, it was their first-ever visit to a doctor. Others, who had been unable to afford medication or care, finally received the help they desperately needed. [Read their story here.]

Grateful this Thanksgiving to be Transforming Lives, Together

Because of your generosity, heartbreak has turned into healing and despair into joy. Your kindness has been the answer to many prayers, and we cannot thank you enough for caring for “the least of these.”

As you gather with loved ones this Thanksgiving, please know that across the globe, countless smiles and grateful hearts are lifting prayers of thanks for YOU. You’re part of a story filled with hope, love, and endless possibilities for children and communities in need.

From all of us at Kinship United—and from the children, families, and communities you’ve touched—Happy Thanksgiving. May your holiday be filled with the same love, joy, and blessings you so graciously share with others.
