Widow Ezina: The Tall Woman with Sky-High Love!

Ezina joyfully plays a game with her Kinship KidsWhen you enter the Emmanuel Kinship in Kenya, you are welcomed by a tall, slender woman whose warmth fills the room. She pulls out a chair for you and welcomes you like family.

Ezina became a widow three years ago. She first heard of Kinship United through the widow feeding program. The reliable source of food relieved her burden.

When a caregiver position opened, Ezina joyfully joined the Emmanuel Kinship Family.

Nearly every child gravitated toward her immediately. Ezina’s motherly nature brings warmth and unity. She has become a safe place for the children, someone they run to for comfort, guidance, and joy.

Nowadays, Ezina has the nickname “Khukhu”, meaning grandmother.

“Khukhu is loving. She advises us, teaches us new things, plays with us, and protects everyone in the Kinship.”

For Ezina, this opportunity has moved her from loneliness and grief to embracing a big, vibrant family that has restored her strength and courage.

Ezina’s character stands out, and she is especially adored by all the Kinship Kids under her care. She is a loving woman whose life story reflects strength, resilience, and compassion.

Her heart is now full of purpose as she pours love into the children of the Emmanuel Kinship Family.

Thank you for giving her this opportunity to serve these kids in such a meaningful and loving way. Her impact will ripple through the rest of these children’s lives.
