The SOS Shipping Team is looking for people like YOU to join their exclusive ranks.

Thousands of the orphans and widows you serve all over the world are paralyzed by food insecurity and get sick with easily-treated diseases. This team is responsible for sending food and medicine to Kinship Projects in communities with those desperate for relief.

But how do we make sure just-rescued orphans have food to nourish them physically and emotionally? How do we treat thousands of infections, from malaria to strep throat, saving and improving lives across the globe?

We rely on shipments of containers of food and medicine from incredible partnering organizations like Feed My Starving Children, who so generously donate this life-saving food. And YOU to help get these resources into the hands of those who need them!

In the next fiscal year, we anticipate shipping around 20 containers of crucial aid.

Just one container can carry up to 250,000 meals or millions of dollars worth of medicine. Now multiply that by 20 containers! You WILL make an incredible impact.

While much of the food and medicine is donated, the cost of freight shipping, taxes, and fees at the arrival ports, and in-country distribution add up to around $16,000 per container, or $320,000 for the fiscal year.

We can’t do this without you.

So we’re looking for monthly supporters to join an elite group of rescuers, the SOS Shipping Team.

When you join, you’ll have access to real-time updates on the containers you’re shipping. You’ll know when the container hits the water, arrives in-country, and when the food and medicine you’ve sent is reaching the people who so desperately need it. And 100% of your donation will go towards sending it.

Food is one of the most expensive aspects to running a Kinship Project with dozens of growing children. It’s also one of the most crucial comforts needed for an orphan who’s suffered years of food insecurity. Shipping containers of food keeps Kinship Projects stocked and able to take care of the hungry in their local communities.

Kinship Projects around the world are beacons of light and hope in harsh areas where war, poverty, and disease have stripped away everything. Your SOS Shipping Team membership will mean the difference between life and death for thousands who are starving.

Sharing the Bread of Life

This isn't about hand-outs or purely physical relief. Your gifts will be bringing the Gospel to these people! You’ll be equipping Kinship Leaders to be the hands and feet of Jesus, feeding the hungry and caring for the sick, and offering prayer and encouragement along the way. Those receiving food and medical care who live near a Kinship Project are invited to join them for church on Sundays. And many become a thriving part of a Kinship Project’s congregation.
