When Pang Sobin got sick, she’d just finished high school and had a promising future ahead of her. But instead of finding a job, continuing her education, or helping her struggling family, she spent the next four years in bed.
Pang Sobin and her family lived too far away from a hospital to seek medical treatment when she got sick, and their local witch doctor was useless against her mystery illness. Pang Sobin was simply not getting better, and she and her family were starting to lose hope.
Then one day, Pastor Jack from Kinship Cambodia visited Pang Sobin’s village to share food with the hungry. Her parents met Jack and begged him to help their daughter. Jack went to their home, bringing a box of food for their family, enriched with multivitamins, and asked if he could pray for Pang Sobin.
Jack showed Pang Sobin’s parents how to prepare the food he’d given them and stressed the importance that their daughter eat it regularly. After only a few days eating it, she was already feeling better! And by the end of the month, she had completely recovered.
Everyone in Pang Sobin’s village thought she was on the brink of death. But thanks to God’s providence along with generous supporters who gave and shipped this miraculous food, she has a new lease on life.
