Wow, now you’ve really done it!
What did you do exactly? You changed lives, of course! Kids at several Kinship Projects in Kenya are standing tall and proud in new school uniforms because of your incredible gifts. And their smiles have never been wider!
As you know, growing children wear 
their clothes out pretty quickly. Pants suddenly get too short, holes appear in the knees, and stains don’t come out of shirts. And Kinship Kids are no different! Running around in dirty play clothes is one thing, but uniforms need to be worn all day during school. And in front of other kids!
The thing is, Kinship Kids already feel like they stand out from their schoolmates. They’re made fun of by other kids for being an orphan. Can you imagine that pain? Losing your parents, the two people you love most in the world, and then being rejected at school because of it. It’s heartbreaking. As if that weren’t hard enough, a torn, dirty uniform that doesn’t even fit right gives Kinship Kids yet another reason to feel self-conscious with their classmates when all they want to do is fit in.
However, we’re so very happy to say that your generosity saved them from walking into school another day with an overused uniform. Your gift bought them beautiful and vibrant new sweaters, shirts, skirts, shorts, and shoes.
But you also gave them something that money can’t buy: newfound confidence.
These kids no longer have any reason to feel self-conscious or stand out because of old or worn out uniforms. You built up these orphans’ spirits, and you’re helping them overcome bigger emotional obstacles. And that’s something we can’t thank you enough for.
From the bottom of our hearts to the smiles on the kids’ faces, thank you so much for caring about these children and this cause. They wouldn’t have their smiles without you!
