Navigating borders, delving into slums, venturing into inner cities, and reaching rural churches and refugee camps, the Kireka Kinship Project is committed to ensuring that every Ugandan, regardless of their circumstances, has access to the medical care they deserve.
Serving as the hands and feet of Jesus, the Kireka Kinship Project extended its outreach during the Christmas season to impact its community and entire surrounding area. Kireka joined forces with a local hospital in December, creating a powerful partnership to maximize the impact of their medical and dental camp.
The dedicated team addressed a myriad of health issues, from common illnesses like malaria and typhoid to more serious bacterial infections. Essential dental care was also a crucial part of the services provided. Together, a beautiful collaboration emerged, bringing together dedicated volunteers from the church, local community council members, and even a member of the Ministry of Health in Uganda.
The outreach was not just about providing medical care, it was a celebration and an opportunity to share the Bible. As part of this initiative, hundreds of people from different corners of the community flocked to receive free medical treatment and heartfelt prayers.
