We can’t say it enough: your support for Kinship United is truly life-changing and creates a lasting, long-term impact. And today, we want to share a story that shows just how deep your impact goes.
In honor of the upcoming International Day of Education on January 24th, we’d like to introduce you to a young man whom you offered a second chance to 15 years ago. And he did not waste a second of it.
Meet Lameck.
Lameck joined his Kinship Project in Kenya in 2010 after enduring a traumatic life on the streets. Over the years, Lameck blossomed into a leader among his peers. He studied hard in school, did well on his final exams, and even taught classes at his local primary school! And through it all, he held tight to his dream of becoming a medical professional one day.
Thanks to his determination—and your generous support—Lameck’s dream is now close to becoming a reality.
We’re thrilled to share that in December, Lameck completed his diploma as a clinical medicine student! That is a long-term impact that doesn't just benefit Lameck, but also those he will care for.

The Long-Term Impact Multiplies
Education means everything to the children and communities we serve. For them, it’s not just about learning—it’s a lifeline, a key to breaking the cycle of poverty, and a gateway to a brighter future.
Lameck is not only steps away from achieving his dream but is now also equipped to bring healing and hope to countless others in need. Your support made this possible.
Like a drop of rain in a puddle, your gift created a ripple that will be felt by every life Lameck touches and every person he heals.
Thank you for investing in the lives of children like Lameck. Your impact is immeasurable, and we are so grateful for you and your kind heart.
