Changing Lives in Cambodia: What Your Gifts are Up To!

Chhan Soknet holds a box of life-saving food, supplied by Feed My Starving Children, with her family.

Just a little while ago, Chhan Soknet’s life seemed pretty hopeless. And she was only 14 years old.

She was barely making it to school because she had to work to support her family. Her father died when she was only a baby, and her mom wasn't able to work for a living anymore.

But their family was starving. And soon Chhan Soknet would have to drop out of school completely to work full time.

She grew weaker and weaker, both physically and emotionally, as their food ran out. Until one day she and her family heard the Gospel – thanks to you!

Since joining the Kampong Chhnang Kinship church, this young woman and her family are not alone anymore. They don’t have to fend for themselves, never having enough and forfeiting a valuable education, because they have people like you to help them!

Chhan Soknet now receives food for her family and school materials for her own studies. Her family is growing in their involvement at church, and everyone is stronger and healthier, both physically and spiritually.

Thank you so much for your support of Kinship United, and for restoring the lives of orphans and widows like Chhan Soknet, her mother, and their family.

P.S. To learn more about the Kampong Chhnang Kinship Project and discover how you can be a part of supporting them on a monthly basis, visit their website here.
