When a child is sick or injured, the first thing you want to do is get them to a doctor. But what if you didn’t have a car, and the hospital was miles away? Your journey carrying a sick child on foot would be nearly impossible.
But that’s the reality for many of our Kinship Projects and their communities. And they’re in desperate need of reliable and safe transportation they can use at a moment’s notice.
This exact situation happened to one of our caregivers in Kenya. One of the children fell ill. But instead of being able to get into a car to drive to the doctor, she had to balance on the back of a small motorbike clutching the sick child in her arms, hoping to make it to the hospital on time.
Your one-time or monthly gift could mean an ambulance to take sick children to the hospital when they need it, a school bus to bless kids from the community, or public transportation to pick up families for church on Sunday. It could even pave the way for Kinship Projects to carry larger loads of food for community outreach missions.
Will you open a whole new world of opportunity for a Kinship Project by giving them a van? Your gift will change everything for them.
