We all love underdog stories. The person who came from nothing, but gave their all and then ended up with something beyond their wildest dreams! We love to know this can happen because it gives us hope – hope that we can overcome and hope that we will see others overcome.
You may not realize that when you give to Kinship United, you are helping the underdog fight their way to a life beyond their wildest dreams! Every week, we hear how these individuals’ lives are changed beyond what they thought would be possible.
The Manasseh Kinship Project is one of the stories of changed lives:
This Kinship Project has been given 600 baby chicks. Yes that’s right – 600! They divided them all up between families within their Kinship Church. Each family was given 20-30 chicks to take home with them.
Can you imagine what an incredible gift that was for them to receive?
These families will now be able to raise their own chicken farms. The 20-30 chicks will each grow up, lay eggs, and more chicks will be born. The families will be able to use the eggs and the chickens for food. They will also be able to sell these fully grown chickens to butchers and in the market for money they can use to buy other products their families need. It’s a life-changing opportunity, and one that just keeps on giving.
What a blessing a few chicks can bring. And what a blessing you are to these Kinship Projects and these individuals when you make their dreams a reality!
