When the Cayacoa Kinship Project in the Dominican Republic faced the high winds of a day-long tropical storm, the chain-link fence surrounding the property was badly damaged. The protective wiring around the top of the fence was nearly completely destroyed. The fence itself had structural damage in several places. Overnight, Cayacoa was left with an emergency need to secure the safety of their vulnerable children.
Thanks to the dedicated monthly Cayacoa Kinship Project sponsors, this emergency need was met. The fence was repaired in many sections and replaced in others. The property is once again secure!
Monthly sponsors are there for a Kinship Project when an emergency arises. When Cayacoa needed security, monthly sponsors enabled immediate action. A monthly sponsor gives Kinship Project leaders stability they can rely on, and Kinship Kids the comfort of ceaseless care that will always be there for them as they grow.
