In a region in India devastated by poverty and child labor, the Home of Love Kinship Project rescues and provides for orphaned children and widowed women in desperate need of help and Jesus’s love.
Hear about the transformative work at Home of Love from in-country Pastor Rani himself.
“Home of Love serves a rural area where industries have displaced indigenous tribes. As a result, people in these areas have lost their cultivated lands and homes. The simple and honest people of this region lack access to food and proper medical care. Child labor is a growing concern.”
Home of Love has rescued orphaned children from a wide variety of exploitation, including: working at fast food restaurants and hotels, garbage pick-up, poultry butchers, begging at train lines and roadsides, tending to cattle, and even caring for children younger than themselves.
In addition to rampant child labor, Pastor Rani adds, “these children lack basic necessities like food, shelter, care, and love. It’s heartbreaking to witness.”
Thanks to the incredible kindness and compassion of monthly sponsors, Home of Love rescues, raises, and cares for children of all ages. Ranging between 1st grade to 10th grade, these parentless children who once worked to survive now get an education to transform their future.
“Your sponsorship and support help us continue to provide love, care, and hope even in the darkest moments of life,” Pastor Rani wrote. “You are instrumental in shaping their bright futures.”
As Pastor Rani, his wife, and the widows who make Kinship care possible at Home of Love live God’s word every day, what they ask is simple. “We kindly request that you continue to pray for and bless these children. Without your support, their lives would be empty and broken,” Pastor Rani wrote with gratitude. “Thank you for [bringing] God’s vineyard to Home of Love.”
