When you support Kinship United, you support a global network of Kinship Families serving vulnerable children in nine different countries. Each Kinship Family cares for up to 25 to 30 orphaned or neglected children, giving them a safe place to live, steady care, and unconditional love. Whenever possible, these families work to reunite children with their biological relatives. When that isn’t possible, they welcome the children into a permanent, loving family where they can truly belong.
By becoming a monthly supporter of a specific Kinship Family, your relationship goes far beyond a donation. You’ll receive regular updates and photos of your family. You’ll be invited to pray for specific needs, and you’ll get to celebrate important milestones as the children heal, grow, and thrive — all made possible by YOU.
It's not another child sponsorship program.
Monthly Kinship Family supporters are essential to taking care of all of the children’s most important needs, not just one child’s. As a monthly supporter, you walk alongside a specific Kinship Family to make sure the pastor and caregivers can provide for all of their children. With your support, they will never go hungry or thirsty. You can clothe them and make sure they get to go to school. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg!
Monthly support is especially important for new children joining Kinship Families. When kids first arrive, they have absolutely nothing. No clean clothes. No bedding or blankets. Most of them need medical testing and treatment. Your gift makes sure each child gets the attention and supplies he or she needs to heal – physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Each Kinship Family needs $1,500/month. You may want to contribute the full amount, or you are welcome to sign up for a monthly gift of whatever you are able to give – any gift is welcomed and appreciated.
