When you support a mission, you want your contribution to make the biggest difference, right? Well at Kinship United, your impact is similar to when a raindrop falls into a puddle – it creates a ripple effect!
The difference you’re making may start in the middle helping orphans and widows at a Kinship Project. But it grows and expands out into the community to offer aid and relief to children, individuals, and families struggling to get by.
Like school children in Cambodia who are eager to learn but lack the essentials.
Pastor Jack, one of our founders in Cambodia, and his team traveled to their Ta Toak Kinship Project to share the Gospel and deliver school supplies and MannaPack meals to children in the community. Each child received school essentials like books, pens, and pencils; personal hygiene items like tooth brushes and toothpaste; and special supplies like nutritious meals and brand new sneakers.
Most of these precious community children live in poverty, and they didn’t have enough school supplies or the proper footwear to walk to school. For many of them, this was the first time they ever held a pair of sneakers, let alone got to wear them.
During this inspiring outreach event, Pastor Jack and his team taught the children songs and shared the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them as well.
You made it possible for 100 children to receive these blessings. And you aren’t done yet…
Happening Across the Globe...
In Uganda, one of our other partners is focusing on helping an older generation.
Richard hosts a feeding program specifically for grandparents caring for young children who were orphaned. Often times, elderly family members are already struggling to survive. So their decision to take in additional mouths to feed doesn’t come lightly.
But this program helps to alleviate some of those concerns and makes it so grandparents don’t need to choose between eating and helping their grandchild. The extra meals make it easier for the children to stay with their families because no one needs to go hungry.
Your support is the reason all of this is possible. You’re the reason the children in Cambodia are smiling while clutching their new school supplies with a renewed hope for their future. And you’re helping to relieve the fear of starvation in family members who are only trying to help children who lost their parents too soon.
You’re making dreams come true and saving lives. But our Kinship Projects can’t invest in helping their communities without you. They need to make sure their orphans are taken care of first. Will you help support Orphan Rescue and Care so Kinship Projects can care for their children AND help their communities?
