How many different items of clothing do you own? The latest Netflix craze of decluttering might have made that number smaller in the past month. But chances are it’s still a lot. And if you’ve ever had to outfit a child, you know how quickly they grow out of things, rip holes in knees, stain shirts with spaghetti sauce, and…you get the idea.
Our Kinship Kids struggle to keep just a couple of outfits that fit them and that aren’t torn. With dozens of children in each Kinship and limited resources, it’s a huge challenge to keep up with the cost of outfitting these children! But it’s not impossible…
We’ve been working on a new idea! And we need your help to make it work: we can access whole bales of clothing for just $300, which would be enough to give multiple nice outfits to every child in an entire Kinship Project.
Let me break that down just a little bit more for you…
Each bale of clothes has hundreds of pieces of clothing. And the only cost we need to cover is for shipping and logistics, which is $300. We're testing this out in Kenya, and it was a huge hit at the Emmanuel Kinship Project!
Will you help us bring that same joy to other Kinship Projects who desperately need new clothing?
You can give $10 to clothe one child, $300 to clothe 30, or anywhere in between. You’ll take away a child’s shame when you toss their old rags and give them nice outfits they will be proud to wear.
Thank you for caring for these children with us!
