Pastor Betty, the Kinship Leader at the Amazing Grace Kinship Project in Kenya, is missing someone very important. Could it be you?
Amazing Grace Struggles Without a Sponsor
Without a dedicated sponsor, Pastor Betty and her team are struggling to make ends meet in order to take care of the orphans and widows who call Amazing Grace “home.”
Between education fees, medical costs, and everything else that comes along with raising children, she desperately needs your help.
Your Monthly Gift WILL Make a Difference
Your monthly support will open the door for God to transform the lives of the precious kids at Amazing Grace. You’ll allow them to experience the safety and security of a loving home, maybe for the first time.
You’ll also help Pastor Betty breathe easier knowing she'll have support each month to look after the incredible kids in her care.
But do you want to know the best part? 100% of your gift to support Amazing Grace Kinship Project will go to the orphans and widows at that very Kinship Project!
Why Support a Kinship Project?
When you become the monthly supporter of Amazing Grace, you’ll be able to connect with the orphans and widows specifically at that Kinship Project.
You’ll get regular photos and updates, be notified of specific prayer requests from your Kinship Kids, and watch them grow and celebrate their successes – made possible by YOU!
You can even go and visit Amazing Grace, knowing that the beaming smiles on the kids’ faces are only there because of you.
What Goes into Kinship Care?
Taking care of Kinship Kids is best explained in three steps:
Step one is relief: to rescue children from the emergency situation.
Children receive a health check-up and treatment for parasites and lice. If a child tests positive for HIV, they’re given the appropriate treatment.
Each child takes a bath, the first many have had in months, and is given new clothes.
This step, as small as it may seem, is crucial to restoring their dignity and confidence.
Step two is healing and restoration.
The children need to see, day in and day out, that the safety and security they’ve craved – necessities, such as food, clothing, and shelter – are now permanent.
Their life until their rescue was full of uncertainty and disappointment. So this stage takes time.
But the immense love of their caregivers eases the transition. And each child learns how to trust again and that there’s a God who loves them.
And finally, step three is ongoing care and rehabilitation.
The local church acts as the primary support system for the Kinship Home. A child never ages out of a Kinship Project. They can stay as long as they need to as they finish schooling and acquire the skills to provide for themselves.
They’re raised to be disciples of Christ and leaders in their generation. Many of the children who were first rescued 18 years ago are now leading ministries of their own or pouring back into the Kinship Projects where they were raised!
So are you ready to see a return on the greatest investment you’ll ever make? Start today and help raise a generation of leaders and disciples through the Amazing Grace Kinship Project.
