This year-end we’re reflecting on the blessings that God has showered on Kinship United over the last 12 months. And one of the greatest blessings he’s given us are faithful, kindhearted donors – YOU!
We couldn’t do anything without your constant support. And you’ve accomplished so much in 2016! Here are just a few of the incredible ways God has used you to shower blessings upon our Kinship families this year:
Fresh Water for Lodwar
You raised enough money to build a water well in Lodwar. Because of YOU, the kids in our Lodwar Kinship Project and people in the surrounding communities will have access to safe drinking water!
Not only does this incredible accomplishment mean that our Kinship kids will stay healthy and safe. But it also serves as a powerful tool for evangelism for the neighboring community! What a blessing!
Female Empowerment in Uganda
Thanks to your support, the Women of Worth Baking Outreach in Uganda has taken off this year. And it’s changing the lives of hundreds of women!
Because of this outreach, many women have learned skills that have allowed them to open their own businesses. And this year, our Women of Worth Outreach had their first entrepreneurs.
This outreach allows them to support themselves and their families consistently and with dignity. And we can’t forget the best part: many women also came to Christ through this incredible program! It’s been a great year for this exceptional outreach.
Education for Hopeful Students in Kenya
In 2016, you helped send 11 students in Kenya to high school for their freshman year! Kids from our Bosnia, Manasseh, Aruba, and Geta Kinship Projects were able to start high school at the beginning of the year because of your generous contributions.
These children had dreamed of attending high school all through their primary schooling. But they’d never truly believed that it would become a reality.
And because of you, those dreams finally did became a reality this year. Their whole lives will be transformed because of this.
New Playground for Cayacoa
Last, but not least, just a few days ago we opened a playground in the Dominican Republic for kids in and around the Cayacoa Kinship Project! We partnered with an organization called Kids Around the World, who repairs and repaints pieces of old playground sets, to build our Kinship kids their first ever playground!
Now, these kids are playing on monkey bars and slides for the first time in their lives. It also opens up an incredible opportunity for these children to tell their friends about Christ!
Your support means everything to us - and to the orphans and widows you're helping around the world! The greatest present we could ever ask for year after year is the loyal and continued support of donors like you. It’s because of you that all of these stories have come to pass.
These blessings that we’re counting couldn’t have come to pass without you.
